Winter Holiday season is coming up soon. There are so many wonderful holidays that we all celebrate in such different ways. With that in mind, here's your response question:
What is your favorite holiday to celebrate? Why? What are some special traditions you and your loved ones have to celebrate your favorite holiday? (You may choose any holiday from any time of year.)
My favorite holiday is Christmas. To me, Christmas represents 2 things: family and food!
ReplyDeleteSince Claire and I live far away from our families, this holiday is a time when we travel to see the people we love the most. Sometimes that involves flying all the way to the Philippines! This year we are spending the holidays with Claire's family in sunny Florida.
It is also a great chance to eat copious amounts of delicious food. Whether it is my dad's delicious chicken and pork adobo with rice, or some barbecued beef on the beach at sunset, food always tastes better when its shared with family over Christmas vacation.
I celebrate Christmas, which is my favoret holiday because of the my mom's cookies and Icebox Cake and the wonderful meals and friends family who visit during the holidays.

My favorite holiday is Christmas. One of my favorite stuff to do on Christmas is hanging out with my friends and family. But my families most traditional holiday is New Years. Since my family is Korean, we celebrate little differently. Every year we eat this traditional soup that most Koreans eat. Then comes the best part of it, the money. We bow to our grandparents then they give us money . The older the kid the most money you get. The winter holidays ar always exiting
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday is easter because it is on my b-day. We ussaly go to LA for easter and have a sleepover with my cousin and in the morning my other cousin is a hyper ball of fun so she always wakes up at like six in the morning but this year we might just stay at home and play.

My favorite holiday to celebrate is CHRISTMAS! My family always goes up to MT for Christmas. We ski the entire break, watch a movie on Christmas Eve, then go to bed, and wake up at 4:30 to see all the presents under the tree. I have my own little traditition where I don't ski the day before Christmas, after Christmas, or on Christmas day.

My favorite is New Years Day. It is my once-a-year chance to start all over again! Even though my family is far away, I still observe our tradition and cook pork with cabbage or black-eyed peas for good luck. If I'm feeling really ambitious, I'll even make a transparent pie. If you know what that is, then you must be from Kentucky too!
